One year on, OmniPV1 is taking shape

Thanks to a smooth and efficient permitting phase led by the developers, construction officially kicked off in October 2025. The site is progressing steadily and key milestones have already been achieved:
Once completed, OmniPV1 will represent:
contributing directly to Mauritius’ 2035 renewable energy targets.
Beyond its technical achievements, OmniPV1 also demonstrates exemplary collaboration between local partners, including regional artisans and contractors, alongside farmers and neighbouring users such as schools and residents. This inclusive approach ensures the project is well integrated and broadly supported by the surrounding community.
