Showcasing Mauritius’ Solar Potential to U.S. Delegates
- Events & Sponsor
We were honoured to welcome Ambassador Henry Jardine and U.S. delegates to Bagatelle Mall, which forms part of Ascencia, and our Ecoasis office in Highlands as part of the 2024 U.S.-Mauritius Business Summit. This event was a significant step in strengthening the ties between Mauritius and the U.S. in the renewable energy sector.
Didier Philogene, CEO of Ecoasis Ltd, introduced our company and provided an overview of our PV rooftop project at Bagatelle Mall. He also highlighted our collaborations with key government agencies, including the Central Electricity Board (CEB), Economic Development Board (EDB), and the Ministry of Energy.
The delegates visited our PV installation on the rooftop of Bagatelle Mall, where they experienced how Ecoasis Ltd is contributing to Mauritius’s sustainable energy future. Thanks to the dedicated support of the Bagatelle Mall team, who were present alongside Ecoasis to assist throughout the visit, the experience was seamless and informative. A special thank you to Ascencia for their warm hospitality in hosting us.
We then moved to our monitoring room at the Ecoasis office in Highlands, where our team demonstrated how we remotely monitor and manage these installations to ensure they operate efficiently. This event highlighted the growing partnership between the U.S. and Mauritius in advancing sustainable energy initiatives. We look forward to the exciting possibilities that this collaboration will continue to create.
