Through the Tech4Nature initiative, Huawei, IUCN, and EcoMode Society launched a coral restoration project in Mauritius in 2020. At Pointe-aux-Feuilles, AI tools and remote monitoring support reef recovery, while local communities are trained in sustainable conservation, combining technology with ecological stewardship for long-term marine protection.

Equipped with 177 high-efficiency panels and 4 Huawei 30kW inverters, the system now generates around 150MWh of renewable electricity annually, contributing to a more sustainable island.
