This World Environment Day, we’re proud to highlight a simple yet impactful initiative happening right on our Moka Smart City site that reflects our commitment to a greener future.

Across the site, you’ll find clearly labelled bins dedicated to different types of waste from paper and cardboard to cans and general waste. This thoughtful sorting system makes it easier for everyone on-site to dispose responsibly and contribute to the circular economy.

This is already in progress and it’s only the beginning. With the help of WeCycle LTD, who specialise in the collection and recycling of paper, cardboard and more, we’re following best practices to ensure recyclable waste is diverted from landfills and given a second life as new, useful materials.

The goal is to implement this initiative across all our sites and at the office. As for wood waste, it will be repurposed by an industrial partner as part of their production process.

Together, we’re reducing our environmental footprint while promoting a culture of accountability and eco-consciousness at every level of our operations. It’s a small effort with a big impact because real change begins right where we work.
