Clean Energy Driving CFAO Mobility Mauritius Forward

NEA Solar entrusted Ecoasis with the implementation of a 422 kWp rooftop solar system at the new CFAO Centre in Pailles. The installation includes high efficiency 756 PV panels, all connected to 13 SolarEdge 33.3 kW inverters.
This system is designed to generate approximately 600 MWh of clean energy annually, covering 100% of the site’s consumption.
This initiative forms part of CFAO’s bold decarbonisation strategy across Africa, aiming to reduce CO₂ emissions by 50% by 2030. The group’s strong commitment to sustainability continues to drive impactful, future-forward projects throughout the region.

Renewable Energy Supporting Coral Conservation
Through the Tech4Nature initiative, Huawei, IUCN, and EcoMode Society launched a coral restoration project in Mauritius in 2020. At Pointe-aux-Feuilles, AI tools and remote monitoring support reef recovery, while local communities are trained in sustainable conservation, combining technology with ecological stewardship for long-term marine protection.
